Le Havre is a vibrant coastal city located in the northwest region of France. With over 188,000 inhabitants, it is the fifth largest port in the country. It is well connected to major French cities by rail and the Octeville Airport, but it is just two hours away from the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. One of the crown jewels of the city is La Cité de la Mer, an exhibition centre dedicated to the mysteries of the sea.
